Product Manager

Job description

We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to help us deliver on our vision to provide the complete financial toolkit needed by digital businesses to thrive in the digital age. As a key member of our Product team, you will develop products from discovery to delivery and beyond. This is a broad role which will cover a wide variety of product areas, across the full customer journey for our SME digital banking business.

A successful candidate will be customer obsessed, data driven and adept at taking complex technologies and turning them into accessible, experience focused products and applications. The role requires a creative mind, a willingness to take on responsibility and a desire to solve interesting, challenging problems. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain the customer needs and to expertly storytell the vision we have to address them are crucial prerequisites for this role.

Intergiro is a Swedish FinTech company with big plans


Over the past 3 years we’ve built a ‘one-stop shop’ digital banking product, providing our customers with the full suite of local and international payment tools, card issuing and merchant acquiring functionality all on one platform. Need to exchange funds and pay a supplier in China? Need to take local payments in the USA from customers via your website or mobile application? Need a smarter way to manage employee expenses via virtual cards and receipt capture tools? Most digital SMEs use a range of separate providers to meet each of these individual needs, which is time consuming and expensive - via Intergiro they are able to meet all those needs via a single platform.


Your responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of key product areas, overseeing the full product development process from one iteration to the next.
  • Execute market research/ competitive analysis to develop a deep understanding of the users' needs.
  • Optimise the user experience across all of intergiro’s products and applications.
  • Lead cross-team projects and work collaboratively on company initiatives, communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • Leverage analytical skills to track product performance and to inform future feature prioritisation.
  • Help to define, prioritise and deliver the product roadmap for the business.
  • Take an active role in developing the Product team’s processes and self-organisation.

Job requirements

You should apply if:

  • You have at least 2 years experience of shipping world-class, customer-centric digital products in a fast-growing company. 
  • You are experienced in executing effective user research which you leverage to identify customer problems, to validate hypothesis and to test product features. 
  • You have a proven ability to work with and become a subject matter expert for complex product areas which are new to you.
  • You are a skilled communicator, able to passionately storytell the vision for innovative products and the rationale behind them. 
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of agile software product management, UX & UI, cross-functional requirement gathering and prioritisation. 
  • You thrive when working closely with other designers and engineers, and enjoy working collaboratively to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • You have a solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end-to-end.
  • You manage your time effectively, focusing on strategic and tactical priorities when managing your workload.
  • You are results-driven and numbers-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • You are ambitious, highly organised and self-motivated.

‘Nice to haves’:

Whilst certainly not prerequisites, we are particularly interested in applications from candidates with experience of developing FinTech products, of working with major card payment networks OR of experience in developing innovative SaaS or BaaS products.
