Are you interested in joining a rapidly scaling and forward-thinking Swedish FinTech company? Intergiro is on a mission to connect the digital economy by enabling businesses to embed payments into their systems and products. Our core suite of payment APIs are used by thousands of internet platforms to increase revenue, reduce costs and make their products more sticky. 


We are seeking a Legal Counsel with GDPR expertise to join our Legal team at Intergiro. As a Legal Counsel at Intergiro you will work with diverse legal matters, including reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, GDPR, product development and general terms and conditions, policy work, payment services issues, as well as training employees in relevant legal areas. You will have a varied inhouse legal experience, including general commercial legal experience (with a focus on commercial contract law and data protection).

This is a challenging but hugely rewarding role, where you will work both independently, together with the legal team and in cross-functional team projects identifying and managing legal aspects and innovation. 


Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements

  • Draft, review, and update privacy policies and procedures to ensure GDPR compliance

  • Working with the Commercial and Product teams to help design solutions compliant with relevant regulations.

  • Conduct legal research and provide updates on relevant laws and regulations

  • Develop training materials and provide training for employees on relevant legal topics, including GDPR

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years experience working as an in-house legal counsel or at a law firm

  • Strong knowledge of GDPR

  • Experience in the Fintech sector is desirable but not a pre-requisite

  • Great communication skills and fluency in English

  • Self starter with a problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment with a remote team

  • Located in Spain, Sweden, Poland or Portugal, meaning you need to have a valid work permit for any of these locations.
