We are now looking for an Engineering Manager to help us shape the future of the 'embedded finance' revolution.
The ideal candidate for this position:
Is an experienced engineering leader with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing engineering teams.
Has a deep understanding of software development practices and can effectively bridge technical and people management responsibilities.
Demonstrates strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and grow engineering talent.
Is passionate about building great products while maintaining high engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple engineering teams (20+ members), with a focus on delivery, talent development, and optimizing engineering processes, while partnering closely with Tech Leads for each team.
Drive technical excellence and innovation while maintaining high-quality standards across teams.
Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Develop and implement engineering processes that promote efficiency and quality.
Build and maintain high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, and professional development.
Collaborate with our CTO and Tech Architect to guide architectural decisions and make strategic technical investments that align with our business goals

Job requirements
To be successful in this position, you need:
7+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in engineering management roles.
Proven track record of managing and developing multiple engineering teams.
Strong technical background with the ability to participate in technical discussions and guide architectural decisions.
Experience in implementing and improving engineering processes and practices.
Demonstrated ability to develop engineers to Senior and Lead-level positions.
Strong track record of successful project delivery and timeline management.
Experience in hiring, mentoring, and managing both high and low-performing team members.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
English at verbal Advanced and above.
Ability to work remotely in Spain, Sweden or Poland, meaning you need a work permit for any of these locations.
