Card Scheme Compliance Specialist

We are now looking for a Card Scheme Compliance Specialist to work with card scheme compliance for our issuing and acquiring products. In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to work closely with Risk, Compliance, Operations and Product to leverage our principal memberships with Visa and Mastercard.

This role will contribute to the development of our acquiring and issuing projects, product changes and product development to ensure compliance to card scheme requirements. You are also expected to support and consult risk and compliance teams on all acquiring and issuing card scheme related topics. Besides this you will be the one to communicate with Visa and Mastercard on all relevant topics and provide regular reporting as well as addressing all card scheme compliance notifications, changes and investigations.

Your responsibilities:

• Oversee and drive the implementation of new and amended scheme rules and regulations in the company's procedures, ensuring changes are designed to deliver value and enhance feature capability
• Ensure that customers, merchants and agents are compliant with schemes requirements
• Carry out mandated reporting
• Manage communication with the schemes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of card brand rules, policies and programs sharing knowledge and best practices on card scheme compliance within the organisation
• Establish required documentation and written requirements in order to ensure compliance to schemes requirements
• Main point of contact for business advisory in card scheme requirements

• Experience of card scheme compliance rules and regulations in the card payment industry
• A deep knowledge of the VISA and Mastercard card scheme issuing and acquiring compliance mandates, programs and requirements, and to demonstrate the ability to identify issues, assess and mitigate risks
• A structured approach with an ability to take ownership and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business.
• A self starter with a desire and comfortability working in a dynamic scale-up environment with a problem-solving mindset and hands on approach.
• Located in any of our hiring locations Sweden, Spain, Poland or Portugal and possessing a work permit for that specific location.
